applicant showing the applicant has completed not less than one hundred (100) hours of instruction, at least seventy-five (75) hour of which shall be classroom instruction; (c) For an acupuncturist permit, a copy of applicant's license to practice acupuncture issued by the California Acupuncture Board. (d) All the information required by subdivisions (b) through (k) of Section 4-23-300." Section 13. The last paragraph of Section 4-23-420 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Notice of revocation of the permit shall be given in writing to the acupuncturist, masseur, or masseuse by the City Manager. The acupuncturist, masseur or masseuse shall cease all operations under the permit within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery of said notice, unless a notice of appeal is filed pursuant to the provisions of Section 4-23-425." Section 14. Section 4-23-425 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "The appeal provisions of Section 4-23-335 shall be applicable to an applicant for or holder of an acupuncturist, masseur, or masseuse permit." Section 15. The first sentence of Subsection (b) of Section 4-23-505 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "All acupuncturists, masseurs, masseuses and employees shall be clean and wear clean outer garments whose use is restricted to the acupuncture or massage establishment." Section 16. Section 4-23-515 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Every permittee operating a acupuncture or massage establishment shall allow inspection of thereof during business hours by the City Manager, the Health Officer, the Chief of Police or their representatives." Section 17. Section 4-23-520 of Title 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "No acupuncture or massage establishment granted a permit under the provisions of this Article shall place, publish or distribute or cause to be placed, published or distributed any advertising matter that depicts any portion of the human body that would reasonably suggest to prospective patrons that any service is available other than those services described in Article I of this Chapter, nor shall any acupuncture or massage establishment indicate in the text of such advertising that any service is available other than those services described in Article 1 of this Chapter." 949970-2 ORDINANCE NO. 2007-008 5
