<br />IN THE CITY COUNClL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-008 <br /> <br />(1215/3026/3080) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO G.E. CHEN CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR <br />THE AIRPORT NOISE INSULATION PROJECT TO SOUNDPROOF TEN (10) HOMES <br />UNDER THE CITY'S RESIDENTIAL NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM <br />PROJECT NO. SL-0401, BID NO. 05-06.023. <br /> <br />The City of San Leandro did; on December 21, 2005, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in the specifications under Bid No. 05-06.023 <br />dated October 7, 2005, which is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and for <br />all particulars relative to the proceedings under said specifications. <br /> <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Chief Building Official who has recommended that <br />the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOL VB as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids" except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: G.B.
