City and San Lorenzo Unified School District Liaison Committee Meeting of <br />April 5, 2007. Accepted as submitted. <br /> <br />Public Comments on Item 11.C.2: <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting <br />on catastrophes, technological advances in communication and taxpayers' revenue <br />used to fund the new communication system. Mr. Filipovich commented that <br />before the Council makes a decision on an item, the members of the audience <br />should be asked if they have any comments. <br /> <br />End of Public Comments on Item I1.C.2 <br /> <br />Mayor Santos commented that he has worked on a number of catastrophes both <br />while serving in the military and as a claims specialist. He noted that people who <br />need help do not seem to care who pays for it; they care that someone is there to <br />help when they need it. <br /> <br />3. Facilities and Transportation Committee Meeting of March 28, 2007. Accepted <br />as submitted. <br /> <br />Mayor Santos commented that there is a shortage of funding for the slough bridge <br />project. Mr. Jermanis stated that East Bay Regional Parks District is looking for <br />ways to cover the shortfall. <br /> <br />4. Marina Committee Meeting of April 1 0, 2007.
