PUBLIC HEARINGS Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. A. Matter of Approval of FY2007-2008 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (RUD) Annual Action Plan (implements the strategies of the Consolidated Plan by undertaking activities during the program year that utilize two RUD grants: Home Investment Partnership Program [HOME] and Community Development Block Grant [CDBG]). This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager Jermanis gave background on the matter and introduced Housing/CDBG Manager Tom Liao. Mr. Liao gave a PowerPoint presentation providing information on the changes to the funding levels since the draft plan was introduced and the next steps in the process. The Hearing was then opened to the public. Lou Filipovich. San Leandro resident. addressed the City Council, asking if any members of the press were present. Mr. Filipovich commented regarding the lack of public comment on the Annual Action Plan and the source ofHUD funding. There being no further comments from the public, and without objection, the Public Hearing was closed. .
