Minutes
San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Meeting - June 19,2000

Page 4

Discussion ensued regarding the MOU, the Disposition and Development
Agreement (DDA) with the Batarse Family Trust, and the eminent-domain
process in general.

Mr. Begier was asked if he had permission from General Motors to move
forward with a new dealership on Marina Boulevard, as required. Mr. Begier
could not clearly answer the question.

After further discussion, the Agency agreed to move on the Resolutions
proposed this evening but directed staff not to act on the Tosco Property
Resolution for ninety (90) days, allowing time for Mr. Begier to come forward
with proof from General Motors that he has permission to open a new
dealership on Marina Boulevard and to allow time for him to negotiate with
Mrs. Christopher for purchase of her property.

The City Attorney noted, in allowing for the 90 days, a change in the schedule
of performance within the MOU with Batarse should be included.

The following Resolutions were then introduced:

Resolution No. 2000-19, Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment
Agency of the City of San Leandro Approving a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOD) Between Anthony A.
