PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. A. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding page 65 of the Agenda packet, referring to the Redevelopment Agency Minutes. He expressed concerns with how the Public Comments section was handled during the meeting, indicating he was not allowed to speak. He said the issue he wanted to discuss was the hotel and self-storage facility on Lewelling Boulevard. 5. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND COMMENTS None 6. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies 1. The Mayor reported that the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency, ACTA Board, and Alameda County Waste Management Authority did not meet in August. 2. She reported that the Air Quality Management Board did meet, and she has prepared a memo for the Chamber of Commerce and interested parties regarding the shuttle funding which was not granted during this round of funding requests for the Air Board Mobile Source Committee. She stated they are preparing a program for the month of September to address shuttles in general around employment centers. B. Reports on City Council Committees 1. Airport Issues Committee Meeting of July 24, 2000. The City Council accepted the report provided in the Agenda packet. 2. Economic Development and Redevelopment Committee Meeting of July 13, 2000. The City Council accepted the report provided in the Agenda packet.
