Larry Norry, 2532 Williams Street, addressed the City Council in opposition to <br />Item M on the Consent Calendar, stating there are problems with a trailer that <br />continues to park in front of the home. He indicated people are living in the trailer <br />parked out front, and he believes that is illegal. He feels the neighbors are against <br />the proposed handicapped parking, and he would like to see the request denied. <br /> <br />N. SiI DeFazio, , 16200 East 14th Street, addressed the City Council in opposition to <br />the use of Eminent Domain. <br /> <br />O. Justin Agrella, 1231 - 148th Street, addressed the City Council and read an <br />article entitled, "Cities Playing a Blight Game" from the Sacramento Bee. He <br />stated his opposition to the use of Eminent Domain. <br /> <br />6. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND COMMENTS <br /> <br />The City Manager commented on the staff recommendation for the continuance of the <br />County properties proposed for eminent domain, indicating there was a lack of proper <br />public input opportunity at the County level. <br /> <br />The City Manager indicated staff will look into the right-of-way plan line for the <br />requested areas. <br /> <br />The Redevelopment Agency reconsidered the previous Motion made regarding the <br />continuance and voted to amend it to be continued to November 20,2000, for the City <br />properties. (Please see Redevelopment Agency Item 4.A for the final motion, Minute <br />Order No. 2000-50). <br /> <br />The City Council recessed from 8:20 p.m. to 8:27 p.m. <br /> <br />7. City and San Leandro Unified School District Liaison Committee Meeting of <br />September 12,2000. The City Council accepted the report provided in the <br />Agenda packet. <br />
