<br />SCOPE OF AGREEMENT .

<br />" Pursuant to Chapter 4.5 of Divisio'n 21 ofthe California Public Resources Code, the State
<br />Coastal Conservancy ("Conservancy") hereby grants to the City of Ban Leandro ("the
<br />grantee") a sum not to exceed forty-nine thousand nine huridred'ninety-six dollars
<br />, ($49,996), subject to the terms and coriditions of this agreement. These funds shall be
<br />used by the"grantee to -undertake Sparlina treatm~nt and eradication activities (up to
<br />$48,996), and public outreach related to those activities (up to $1,000) ('the project") at
<br />the San Leandro/Hayward Shoreline, shown as site number 12 on Exhibit 1, "San
<br />Francisco Estuary Invasive Spartina Project 2005/2006 Spartina Treatment Sites", which
<br />is incorporated by reference and attached. .'. ' ,
