<br />IN THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF PUBLIC RIGHT -OF- WAY <br />APPROXIMATELY 1,088 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF <br />MACARTHUR BOULEVARD AND BROADMOOR BOULEVARD <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a 1,088 square foot portion ofland to be summarily vacated by this <br />resolution is located at the southwest comer of MacArthur Boulevard and Broadmoor Boulevard <br />and is more precisely described in Exhibit "A" and "B", attached hereto, and made a part hereof; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the subject portion of land is not required for street or utility purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed vacation has been found to be categorically exempt from the <br />California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said summary vacation is made under Chapter 4 (Summary Vacation) Part 3 <br />Division 9, Section 8331, of the California Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City Council hereby orders the summary vacation of the herein above <br />described portion of public right-of-way. <br />2. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in <br />the Office of the Recorder of Alameda County, California, immediately upon its adoption. <br />3.
