<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-071 <br /> <br />(3037) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE <br />SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (DISTRICT) AND THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO RECREATION AND HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT (CITY) FOR THE <br />JOINT IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATION OF THE PROPOSITION 49 AFTER-SCHOOL <br />EDUCATION AND SAFETY (ASES) GRANT PROGRAM <br /> <br />A Memorandum of Understanding between the City of San Leandro and San Leandro <br />Unified School District, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this Council. <br /> <br />The Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />The City Manager has recommended approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 21 st day of May, 2007, <br />by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, ProIa, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />(7) <br />(0) <br />(0) <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
