On May 1, 2000 by Resolution No. 2000-63, the City Council recommended that Alameda <br />County place Measure B (extension of the 1/2 cent sales tax for transportation projects) on <br />the November ballot <br />. On March 18, 2002 by Resolution No. 2002-35, the City Council authorized the City <br />Manager to enter into a Master Funding Agreement with ACTlA for Measure B <br />Programmatic Pass-Through Funds <br />. On July 1, 2002 by Resolution No. 2002-96, the City Council authorized the City Manager to <br />enter into a Master Funding Agreement with ACTlA for Measure B CIP funds <br />. On September 16, 2002 by Resolution No. 2002-137, the City Council amended the Master <br />Funding Agree:tpent with ACTlA to include the 1-8S0/Washington Avenue Interchange <br />proj ect <br />. On July 7, 2003, the City Council heard staffs recommended alternatives; the item was <br />continued to the July 21,2003 meeting <br />. On July 21, 2003 by Resolution No. 2003-184, the City Council endorsed Alternative 1 <br />(Beatrice Street with Traffic Signals) with Alternative 4 (Beatrice Street Traffic Signals with <br />a Double Left Turn Lane at Northbound Washington Avenue) as a potential future phase <br />. On June 20, 2005 by Resolution No. 2005-092, the City Council approved a Contractual <br />Services Agreement with Mark Thomas and Company, Inc. for civil engineering services <br /> <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br /> <br />Not Applicable <br /> <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br /> <br />.
