<br />AUTIiORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT AND LICENSE WITH
<br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR A PORTION OF THE
<br />SAN LORENZO SHORELINE REGIONAL TRAIL
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1981-3-77, adopted March 17, 1981, this Board
<br />approved an application to the State Coastal Conservancy for a grant for
<br />construction of the San Lorenzo Shoreline Trail; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, fulfillment of that grant requires acquisition of rights of way
<br />for the trail, and staff has negotiated an agreement regarding a portion of the
<br />property located at the San Lorenzo Shoreline and owned by the City of San
<br />Leandro for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a 900-foot long segment
<br />of the Regional Shoreline Trail;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the President, Secretary and General
<br />Manager are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement and License with the City
<br />of San Leandro in the form presented to the Board this date, subject to nonsub-
<br />stantive changes approved by Distrlct Counsel.

<br />and adopted this 6th day of April, 1982, by the following vote:
