The curriculum has been state approved. <br />September 25, The City Council issued a $5,000 reward for information leading to the <br />1989 arrest and prosecution of perpetrators responsible for a cross burning at a <br />Resolution 89-209 home on 139th Avenue, and condemned the act of racism. <br />November 20, The City began contracting with Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity <br />1989 (ECHO Housing) for fair housing services and fair housing audits. <br />Resolution 89-242 <br />late 1980s into The City participated in the Community Housing Resource Board (CHRB). <br />early 1990s City staff worked with fair housing organizations and the Board of Realtors <br /> to educate the community on housing policies.
