<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-085 <br /> <br />(1556) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE SURPLUS OF NINETEEN (19) VEHICLES, ONE (1) PIECE <br />OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND TWO (2) PIECES OF EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE SALE THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br />Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, nineteen (19) vehicles, one (1) piece of heavy equipment and two (2) pieces of <br />equipment have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be <br />declared surplus and sold at auction. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of four <br />nineteen (19) vehicles, one (1) piece of heavy equipment, and two (2) pieces of equipment at public <br />auction scheduled June 23, 2007 is hereby noted. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember ProIa and passed and adopted this 18th day of June, 2007 by <br />the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, ProIa, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />(7) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />(0) <br />(0) <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
