<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-082 <br /> <br />(2972) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2007-2008 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />CDBG SUBRECIPIENTS: BUILDING FUTURES WITH WOMEN AND CHILDREN <br />(BFWC); DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (DSFRC); PROJECT <br />LITERACY; AND, EDEN COUNCIL FOR HOPE AND OPPORTUNITY (ECHO) FOR FAIR <br />HOUSING SERVICES AND LAND LORD- TENANT COUNSELING <br /> <br />Agreements between the City of San Leandro and Building Futures With Women and <br />Children (BFWC), Davis Street Family Resource Center (DSFRC), Project Literacy, and Eden <br />Council for Hope and Opportunity (ECHO) for Fair Housing Services and Landlord-Tenant <br />Counseling Services, copies of which are attached, have been presented to this Council. <br /> <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said agreements. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof are hereby authorized <br />for the CDBG grant amounts of $28,750 for BFWC, $24,685 for DSFRC, $30,000 for Project <br />Literacy, $29,750 for ECHO's Landlord-Tenant Services, and $14,000 for ECHO's Fair Housing <br />Services. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember ProIa and passed and adopted this 18th day of June, 2007, <br />by the following called vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, ProIa, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />(7) <br />(0) <br />(0) <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
