As part of this project, the <br />City will also construct a connecting trail segment of approximately 600 feet, to the north of <br />the bridgc. The project will connect two existing segments of the Bay Trail. <br /> <br />The East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) is an essential partner in coordinating the <br />planning, development, and implementation of this project. EBRPD owns, operates and <br />maintains the Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline Park and the Bay Trail segment within the park. <br />The City of San Leandro will maintain the bridge and connecting trail when completed. The <br />Port of Oakland will maintain the trail segment connecting to the north side of the bridge. <br /> <br />The Measure B funds authorized by this funding agrcement are carmarked primarily for <br />construction, as all other phases are fully funded. <br /> <br />BikePed-Cycle3-A0700 13 -SanLeandro-SloughBridge- Final .doc <br /> <br />Page 9 of 19 <br />
