<br />Page 6 of6 <br /> <br />City/SLUSD Liaison Committee Highlights <br /> <br />July 23, 2007 <br /> <br />Councilmember Gregory addressed Mr. Ellington's comments, stating that it is <br />possible to bring the desired improvements to Burrell Field into being. <br /> <br />Trustee Hague commented that she is happy to be part of the Committee, and <br />expressed the need for the City and School District to find ways to work together. <br /> <br />Vice President Cassidy commented that Measure B did not specifically address <br />Burrell Field. Vice President Cassidy stated that the Board recognizes the need <br />for improvements to Burrell, and he urged Mr. Ellington to contact <br />Superintendent Lim. <br /> <br />Mayor Santos commented that the City would be performing a public opinion <br />survey on shoreline and public safety needs, and he asked whether the survey <br />should include recreational needs. Mayor Santos commented on the possibilities <br />of relocating the SLUSD District Offices closer to City Hall and sharing <br />corporation yard facilities. <br /> <br />10. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, Mayor Santos adjourned the meeting at 5:55 p.m. <br />
