<br />DRAFT MINUTES <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-July 30, 2007 <br /> <br />Page 16 <br /> <br />Mayor Santos commented that he will be addressing the San Leandro Breakfast Club at the <br />Englander on Wednesday on his role in the Waste Management lockout. Mayor Santos <br />commented that he received confirmation from Congressman Pete Stark's office that the $2.5 <br />million in dredging money and the $150,000 for the Senior Center is in the House budget, <br />was also informed of a $450,000 grant awarded for the Estudillo Creek study. Mayor Santos <br />commented on the Community Preservation Ordinance, noting that he receives many calls <br />regarding trash containers and basketball stands blocking the sidewalk and in the street. <br />Mayor Santos requested concurrence from the Council to make a referral to the Rules and <br />Communications Committee to clearly define what a nuisance is, so that Code Enforcement <br />Officers are able cite violators. <br /> <br />13.
