<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of San Leandro <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct. <br /> <br />2. That the City Council respectfully requests the President of the United States and the <br />United States Congress to support S. 420, authored by Senator Diane Feinstein, and <br />Assembly Joint Resolution No. 35, authored by Assembly Member Mary Hayashi, which <br />provide for Mrs. Jacqueline W. Coats to obtain permanent resident status. <br /> <br />3.
