<br />2. Public Comments <br /> <br />Bo Johanson stated that he believed public attendance at today's meeting was low due to a <br />misunderstanding regarding a future community meeting. He also asked what was <br />happening with the boat harbor, if rezoning would include housing and if there will be a hotel <br />on the waterfront. <br /> <br />Gerd Marggraff shared his belief that it's important to find a plan that is interesting to <br />developers to ensure long-term success ofthe project. <br /> <br />3. Committee Member Comments: <br /> <br />Councilmember ProIa stated that we all have different ideas of what type of development we <br />want and that it is essential that the Master Developer work with the community to create <br />consensus. The goal is to find a project that the entire community supports. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak asked if a draft of the Environmental Assessment being <br />completed by Environmental Science Associates (ESA) will be available for the October 9, <br />2007 Committee meeting as scheduled. Interim Planning Manager Livermore responded that <br />a draft should be available and will be scheduled for discussion. City Manager J ermanis <br />added that funding of dredging will also be placed on the October 9 agenda, assuming <br />adoption of a federal budget. <br /> <br />4.
