EGULAR MEETING 7:00 PM-City Council Cha 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:13 p.m. A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag Mayor Tony Santos led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. B. Roll Call PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, ProIa, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos ABSENT: None 2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS A. Proclamation Declaring October 1-7, 2007 as Aging In Place Week in San Leandro. Dan Ashbrook, Advisory Board Member for Lavender Seniors of the East Bay, accepted the Aging In Place Week proclamation. 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS-CITY COUNCIL Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. A. Matter ofPLN2007-00036; Vesting Tentative Map 7917 for a 24-Unit Residential For- Sale Project Located at 15101 Washington Avenue; Assessor's Parcel Number 80H- 1515-008-02; 15101 Washington Ave, LLC (Applicant and Property Owner). This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager Jermanis gave background on the item and introduced Planner III Sally Barros. Ms. Barros gave a short PowerPoint presentation, describing the proposed project. Councilmember Gregory inquired about the selling price of the units. Ms. Barros indicated that they would likely be priced in the $500,000 range. Councilmember Starosciak stated that she is pleased to see that the four affordable units are identical to the market rate units. She asked about the parking configuration and the plan for undergrounding utilities.
