measures since the preparation of the ADEIR and correct any other inaccuracies in the
monitoring table.
It is anticipated that the implementation of the proposed Retail Shopping Center and Mixed-Use
Residential Project will result in significant unavoidable impacts, particularly associated with
increases in traffic. With this in mind, the description of impacts and potential mitigation
measures in the DEIR and FEIR will be framed in support of a Statement of Overriding
Considerations. EIP has extensive experience preparing Findings and Statements of Overriding
Considerations for large, multi-phase projects. We will either assist the City in the preparation
of the Findings and Statement of Overriding Considerations ar prepare the Findings and
Statement for City review and comment.
Task 12. Presentations/Meetings
Purpose: To attend meetings to accomplish the above tasks.
City Involvement: Organize, announce, and conduct meetings; prepare materials; follow-up.
Discussion: Team members will attend and participate in meetings on an as needed basis. As
described above, it is anticipated that two meeting per month will be held during the EIR
process. In addition, EIP will attend up to one public scoping meeting and up to two public
meetings each for the Draft EIR and for the Final EIR.
Consulting Services Agreement between
City of San Leandro and EIP Associates Page 40 of 43
