IN THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2007- <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPERTY OWNER <br />MR. MIKE ROGALA'S REQUEST TO RESCIND THE LANDMARK STATUS OF <br />REDWOOD TREES LOCATED AT 651 JUANA AVENUE, SAN LEANDRO, CA <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Mike Rogala has requested that the redwood trees on his 651 Juana <br />Avenue property be delisted as historic landmark for the City of San Leandro. <br />WHEREAS, the San Leandro Municipal Code Section 4-26-1015, Procedures to Rescind a <br />City Landmark, requires that the Library-Historical Conunission review the request to rescind a <br />City Landmark designation and provide recommendations to the City Council regarding a course of <br />action. <br />WHEREAS, on January 16, 2007, the Library-Historical Commission reviewed and <br />recommended approval of Mr. Rogala's request. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Resolution No. 2003-251 is hereby amended to remove 651 Juana Avenue from the <br />City's Historic Sites Register. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this the 1st <br />day of October, 2007 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
