IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-141 (3111) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR BANCROFT MIDDLE SCHOOL <br />PLAYFIELD RENOVATIONS, PROJECT NO. 06-210-38-257 <br />Pursuant to a contract between the City and American Civil Constructors, Inc., dated <br />April 16, 2007 by Resolution No. 2007-054, Bancroft Middle School Playfield Renovations, <br />Project No. 06-210-38-257, has been completed. <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br />project. <br />3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br />are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br />~. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant to <br />said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br />Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br />given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prole and passed and adopted this 5`h day of November <br />2007, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prole, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos (6) <br />NOES: None (p~ <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Grant (1) <br />ATTEST: ~~~tG~VI-CP,t~ ~~~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
