The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. 1. Update on the Mid -Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan City Manager Jermanis introduced Assistant to the City Manager Battenberg who reported that, as required by California Redevelopment Law, a public hearing is scheduled for the December 3, 2007 City Council meeting to hear comment on the Mid -Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan. The Implementation Plan is a 5 -year plan and during the third year of the plan, which is 2007, the Agency is required to prepare and adopt a Mid -Term Review of the Plan. State law also includes posting requirements, which the City has met. The Mid -Term Review includes updates on projects identified in the Implementation Plan such as the West Estudillo Pedestrian Improvements and History Walk, as well as new projects which meet included goals, such as the TOD Strategy for improving public transit use and the pedestrian environment. Additionally, the Mid -Term Review includes any changes to the objectives and an update on tax increment and expenditures. A presentation of the Mid -Term Review will be part of the December 3rd public hearing.
