(1455) The City Council authorized the City Manager to execute a Letter of Intent with Siemens Building Technology, Inc. to conduct a detailed engineering study for the WPCP Co-Generation Project. M/S/C Prola and Gregory. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 Councilmember Gregory commented that at the Mayors Conference, it was mentioned that PUC grant funds were available for these types of projects. Councilmember Prola noted the monetary savings the City would realize through the co-generation project, and he thanked City staff for bringing this item forward. Accepted 4. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS Vice Mayor Grant thanked City staff, and especially Kathy Ornelas and Joann Oliver, for a well organized and successful Veterans Day event. She announced that during their trip to New Orleans, Councilmember Souza celebrated a milestone birthday.
