Chen Construction has
developed a comprehensive
construction schedule. Con-
struction is scheduled to
begin in December. This
schedule is tentative, as
construction is dependent on
the delivery of the different
components from all manu-
facturers. G.E. Chen has
time of delivery commitments
from all manufacturers and
expects that these com-
mitments will be met. If for
unforeseen reasons there is
any change, homeowners will
be notified as soon as
possible.
Note that no construction will
take place during the last two
weeks of December. Any
homeowner who plans to be
away from home in Decem-
ber or January should contact
the Project Manager so the
contractor can adjust the
schedule.
October 2007
Homeowners should refer to
the program information
handouts to understand their
responsibilities in preparation
for construction. If the gen-
eral contractor arrives at a
home to begin construction
and a homeowner is not
prepared, the entire project
may be delayed, including
construction on other homes.
Homeowners are asked to be
thoughtful and conscientious
of other homeowners in the
program.
G.E. Chen Construction and
their subcontractors will be
responsible for protecting and
taking care of properties
during construction. Daily
cleanup and removal of
debris is required of construc-
tion crews. The contractor
shall, under no circumstance,
store any construction
materials at houses or in
garages.
The Project Inspector will be
in the field daily to monitor
construction activity. The
acoustical items and the
workmanship of the crews will
be carefully inspected.
Should you have questions
regarding your homeowner
responsibilities or if you have
a new phone number, please
notify the Program Manager.
