PUBLIC HEARINGS-CITY COUNCIL <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers maybe determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br />None. <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. <br />When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the <br />City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and <br />addresses obtained. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest NOT <br />listed on the Agenda. <br />Diana Gentry, CEO of the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, addressed the City <br />Council, stating that tonight is her last City Council meeting as CEO of the Chamber. Ms. <br />Gentry thanked the City Council and commented that she has enjoyed serving the business <br />community of San Leandro. <br />Jenny Kubicki, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting on the need <br />by the Washington Manor swim team for a competitive pool at the San Leandro Aquatics <br />Center. Ms. Kubicki asked what could be done to bring a competitive pool to the Center. <br />Janet Palma, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, expressing concerns for <br />the safety of pedestrians crossing Davis Street eastbound at the I-880 overcrossing. Ms. <br />Palma suggested the City assess the area and consider providing additional signage. <br />Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting that it is a <br />violation of the Brown Act to change the order of speaker cards. Mr. Filipovich provided <br />copies to the Council of articles on redevelopment that he authored. <br />Bo Johansen, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, reiterating his earlier <br />request for a complete accounting of the Walnut Drive project. Mr. Johansen stated that the <br />residents of Walnut Drive have yet to receive this information. <br />Harold Perez, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, expressing opposition to a <br />proposal to relocate Burrell Field to Oyster Bay Regional Park.
