IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN LEAIv~RO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008 - <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO CONVEY PROPERTY AND TO DELIVER <br />PROCEEDS FROM FUTURE DISPOSITION WITH THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR <br />268 PARROTT STREET <br />(APN: 075 0005 012 00) <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro ("Agency") is a <br />redevelopment agency existing pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law, California <br />Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq., and pursuant to its authority under California <br />law, Agency has the responsibility to carry out the Redevelopment Plan for the Alameda County- <br />City of San Leandro Joint Redevelopment Project Area, as amended ("Redevelopment Plan"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Property is located in an area governed by the Redevelopment Plan, and <br />under Section 33220(a) of the Community Redevelopment Law, for the purpose of aiding and <br />cooperating in the Redevelopment Plan, the City of San Leandro ("City"), upon the terms and <br />with or without. consideration as it determines, may dedicate or convey any of its property to the <br />Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is conveying, and Agency is accepting the conveyance of, the <br />Property in furtherance of the Redevelopment Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency owns one parcel on Washington Avenue adjacent to 268 Parrott <br />Street; and <br />WHEREAS, Agency will dispose of all the properties in a public process in accordance <br />with the Redevelopment Plan and local and state regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency will convey proceeds of disposition to the City under the terms <br />described in the attached Agreement, a copy of which has been made familiar to the Agency <br />Board; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro hereby <br />approves the attached Agreement and directs the Executive Director to execute any and all <br />documents necessary to implement the terms and conditions thereof. <br />
