IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008- <br />RESOLUTION ADDING THE ASIAN COMMUNITY CULTURAL ASSOCIATION <br />TO THE LIST OF CITY COUNCIL COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT FUND RECIPIENTS <br />WHEREAS, City Council Community Empowerment Funds have been established to <br />provide financial assistance to local community groups, organizations and programs which might <br />benefit from a nominal financial contribution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a list of organizations and groups which are <br />able to receive discretionary funding from City Council Community Empowerment Funds, as <br />directed by the Mayor or City Councilmembers and approved by the City Manager. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the Asian Community Cultural Association is hereby added to the list of Community <br />Empowerment Fund Recipients. <br />Introduced by Councilmember <br />January, 2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />and passed and adopted this 22nd day of <br />~) <br />~) <br />~) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
