CSA Freyer &Laureta SSP 07-08 2 February 19, 2008 <br />Because of its successful performance on the first phase, the initial relevant work already <br />completed and its familiarity with the project, Freyer &Laureta, Inc. was selected to complete <br />this phase of the Sanitary Sewer Replacement project. <br />The current phase will address sewers located on private property at four separate locations. The <br />consultant will review records and gather information necessary to complete construction <br />documents ready to bid and will also assist the City through the bid, award and construction <br />phases of the project. <br />Current City Council Policy <br />• Continued improvements to the City's sewer collection system to correct infiltration and <br />capacity problems <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />• On November 15, 2004 by Resolution No. 2004-168, the City Council approved a <br />contractual services agreement with Freyer &Laureta, Inc. related to the Sanitary Sewer <br />Pipeline Replacement Project 2004-05, Project No. 593-52-211 <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br />Not Applicable <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />• Goal 52--Ensure sewer and solid waste facilities are well maintained and improvements meet <br />existing and future needs <br />Permits and/or Variances Granted <br />• Rights of Entry will be obtained from property owners for the study <br />Environmental Review <br />• A Categorical Exemption has been filed with Alameda County <br />Code Compliance Review <br />Not Applicable <br />Board/Commission Findings <br />Not Applicable <br />
