CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Councilmember Joyce Starosciak led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. BUSINESS ITEMS <br /> <br />A. 2008 State of the City Address Presented by Mayor Santos <br /> <br />Mayor Tony Santos presented the 2008 State of the City address for the City of San <br />Leandro. In his presentation, Mayor <br />Santos ssues and upcoming projects, and <br />highlighted the major events of 2007. He encouraged citizens to take pride in San <br />Leandro and to become more active and involved in the community. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. <br />fill out a speaker card <br />When you address the City Council, you should and submit it to the <br />City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and <br />NOT <br />addresses obtained. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest <br />listed on the Agenda. <br /> <br /> <br />
