CALL TO ORDER EXCERPTS OF THE MINUTES The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m' OF THE JANUARY 22, 2008 CITY COUNCIL MEETING A. Roll Call PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, Prola, Starosciak, Stephens ABSENT: Member Souza and Mayor Santos 2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS A. Resolution No. 2008-004, Resolution Appointing Darien A. Beebe as Resident Landlord Representative and Steven G. Leung as Homeowner Representative to Rent Review Board. (2507) M/S/C Starosciak and Stephens. Ayes: S; Noes: 0; Absent: 2 (Santos and Souza) Newly appointed Rent Review Board member Darien Beebe took his Oath of Office administered by City Clerk Marian Handa. 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS--CITY COUNCIL Public Hearing Continents are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. A. Matter of PLN2006-00059, Use Permit for Condominium Conversion; Planned Development Modification; Vesting Tentative Map. The proposed use perrrtit is for the conversion of the Woodside Apartments, 235 Haas Avenue, a 96-unit apartment complex, to condominium ownership. As part of the condominium conversion process the property owner is proposing to redesign the front parking lot to increase the current off-street parking supply, thereby reducing the front landscaped setback and requiring a modification to the planned development.
