DRAFT MINUTES <br /> Page 16 <br />March 3, 2008 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Prola commented that he attended the Chamber of Commerce lunch on <br />February 21 at the Englander. Frank Mellon, East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) <br />Director, gave a presentation and urged residents to keep conserving water. <br />Mayor Santos commented on the visit by the Yangchun delegation. He reported that on <br />Saturday, he attended a reading program at Corvallis School. Mayor Santos asked for the <br />Keep to the list of eligible <br />recipients for Community Empowerment Funds. It was the consensus of the Council to do <br />so. <br /> <br />Councilmember Souza asked if the school booster clubs are eligible to receive Community <br />Empowerment Funds. Mr. Jermanis confirmed that they are an eligible school-sponsored <br />group. <br />djourned in memory of Joseph <br />Louis Neumiller, who was a City employee from 1969-86. <br /> <br /> <br />13.
