CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Councilmember Gregory led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gregory, also representing the American Red Cross, accepted the <br />proclamation presented by Vice Mayor Grant. <br /> <br />Mayor Santos announced that he made the following contributions from his Community <br />Empowerment Funds: <br /> $100 to Stepping Stones Growth Center <br /> $250 to the Asian Community Cultural Association <br /> $500 to the Arts Council of San Leandro <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEARINGSCITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />fill out a speaker card <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br />PLN2006-00059; <br />A. Matter of Use Permit for Condominium Conversion; Planned <br />Development Modification; Vesting Tentative Map. The proposed use permit is for the <br />235 Haas Avenue <br />conversion of the Woodside Apartments, , a 96-unit apartment <br />complex, to condominium ownership. As part of the condominium conversion process <br />the property owner is proposing to redesign the front parking lot to increase the current <br />off-street parking supply, thereby reducing the front landscaped setback and requiring a <br /> <br />
