IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2008-028 (1447/3041) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH AT&T, A DELAWARE LIMITED LIABILITY CORPORATION, <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND STREET LIGHT CONDUITS ON <br />EAST 14TH STREET, PROJECT NO. 210-38-172 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has created an Underground Utility District on East 14th <br />Street from the southern City limits to 150th Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the City owns and operates street lights within the Underground Utility <br />District that require new underground connections to electrical power; and <br />WHEREAS, AT&T, a Delaware Limited Liability Corporation, has a project to place <br />conduits for utilities underground with the Underground Utility District and has offered to install <br />conduits for power to the City's street lights. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with AT&T for <br />construction of underground street light conduits on East 14th Street from the southern City limits to <br />150th Avenue. <br />That afully-executed agreement will be placed on file with the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 17th day of March, <br />2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: M <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
