IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-032 (1003) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONSTRUCTION GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF BAY AREA <br />GOVERNMENTS (ABAG), IN THE AMOUNT OF $300,000, RELATING TO THE BAY <br />TRAIL SLOUGH BRIDGE PROJECT <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) has awarded the City of <br />San Leandro a $300,000 grant for the construction phase of the Bay Trail Slough Bridge Project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the agreement attached hereto and <br />recommends approval, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That the Grant Agreement between the Association of Bay Area Governments <br />and the City of San Leandro is hereby approved; and <br />2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement and any <br />additional documents necessary to facilitate the transaction. <br />3.
