Downtown Farmers' Market 3 April 14, 2008 <br />Downtown Farmers' Market will continue the transformation of the downtown and complement <br />on-going improvements. <br />Current City Council Policy -Not Applicable <br />Previous City Council Actions -None <br />City Council Committee Review and Action -The Business Development Committee <br />discussed the Farmers' Market at their November 8, 2007 meeting and recommended staff to <br />proceed with the RFP process and negotiations to bring a farmers' market to Downtown San <br />Leandro. <br />Applicable General Plan Policy -Not Required <br />Permits and/or Variances Granted -Not Required <br />Environmental Review -Not Required <br />Code Compliance Review -Not Required <br />Board/Commission Findings -Not Required <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts -Not Applicable <br />Fiscal Impact <br />This Joint Redevelopment Project Area Fund three-year program will cost a total of $26,000. <br />The cost for the first year is $11,000 and will be funded by an existing appropriation in Account <br />962-86-001-5120. The Agency's contribution for the second year is $9,000 and funds have been <br />budgeted for FY 2008-09.
