4. Prepare Landscape site design development drawings <br />5. Prepare narrative descriptions of building electrical, mechanical, plumbing, phone and data, and <br />fire protection systems. <br />6. Prepare a narrative description of construction phasing to protect adjacent properties and provide <br />pedestrian access. <br />7. Prepare a design development level construction cost estimate for the design for the purpose <br />confirming the project construction budget. <br />8. Meet with City staff to review design development documentation. <br />9. Address staff comments and issue for City's review and approval the preliminary design <br />Meetings: The time for a total of 5 meetings between the Project Team and a City assembled Project <br />Management Team (PMT) or other groups are allotted for this task. <br />Deliverables: Draft and Final Design Development drawings, Statement of Probable Construction Cost, <br />Narratives of other systems, Outline Specifications <br />Task 1A-LEED Certification Feasibility Study <br />Consultant shall conduct a feasibility study to investigate sustainable design strategies applicable to this <br />project to assist the City in determining the opportunities for LEED certification of this project from the <br />USGBC. The basis of this study will be a work session with the City stakeholders and design team <br />members. Work session participants will include representatives of the City, Architect, Structural Engineer, <br />Civil Engineer, MEP Engineers and Landscape Architect. The session will take 4 to 6 hours and will be <br />followed up with a written feasibility report. This report will include recommendations and strategies, an <br />opinion of probable associated construction costs, and an outline of the process for obtaining LEED <br />certification if that is the goal. The scope of work under this task will include the following: <br />1. Meet with team members and City to discuss sustainable strategies and goals. <br />2. Develop a list of potentially achievable LEED requirements, including the potentially available <br />points, and score for becoming LEED certified. <br />Deliverables: Feasibility report that included our recommendation, discussion, table of potentially <br />achievable LEED requirements necessary to obtain the minimum level of certification, and an <br />opinion of the probable design and construction costs associated with obtaining the minimum level <br />of certification. <br />Task 2 -Preparation of Existing Structure Demolition Documents <br />Consulting Services Agreement between Redevelopment Agency of the <br />City of San Leandro and Walker Parking Consultants--Exhibit A Page 17 <br />149 <br />
