The <br />group was formed in January 2008, is a subprogram of the Healthy San Leandro <br />Collaborative, and is open to all San Leandro residents. <br /> <br />Ms. Fernandez stated that Quality of Life Services holds free monthly seminars on the <br />third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Trustees Room at the Main Library, <br />and is currently focusing on the issues of crime and crime prevention. Based on <br />community input at its January meeting, the group identified the top issues concerning <br />residents, and discussed possible solutions, including broadening participation in the <br />Neighborhood Watch program. Ms. Fernandez described the previous seminars held by <br />the group, and stated that the topic of the June seminar will be identity theft.
