Specialist III, Building Supervisor, Electrician I, Electrician II and Environmental Protection Specialist UII classification specifications under the SLCEA Represented Employees category. Following a review by Secretary Caire, a brief discussion was conducted by the Board. It was MS (Jardin/Myers) to approve the revisions to the classification specifications under the SLCEA Represented Employees category listed above. The Motion carried 5 Ayes. The second group reviewed was comprised of Park Maintenance Worker II, Plant Electrician UII, Plant Maintenance Supervisor, Plant Maintenance Worker, Plant Operator-Lead, Traffic Supervisor, Tree Supervisor, Tree Trimmer I and Tree Trimmer II under the SLCEA Represented Employees category. Following a review by Secretary Caire, a brief discussion was conducted by the Board. It was MS (Jardin/Myers) to approve the revisions to the classification specifications under the SLCEA Represented Employees category listed above. The Motion carried 5 Ayes. The third group reviewed was comprised of the Shoreline Operations Manager under the SLMO Represented Employees category. Following a review by Secretary Caire, a brief discussion was conducted by the Board. A misspelling in the Shoreline Operations Manager classification specification (gold to golf) was noted and corrected by the Board. It was MS (Van Austen/Alonzo) to approve the revisions to the classification specifications under the SLMO Represented Employees category listed above. The Motion carried 5 Ayes. The fourth group reviews was comprised of Police Officer and Police Sergeant under the SLPOA Represented Employees category. Following a review by Secretary Caire, a brief discussion was conducted by the Board. The Board noted tjhat the ability to pass a background check was included in both the Ability to and the Licenses and Other Requirements sections of the Police Officer specification. It was removed from the Ability to section. It was MS (Alonzo/Van Austen) to approve the revisions to the classification specifications under the SLPOA Represented Employees category listed above. The Motion carried 5 Ayes. The Board received the Human Resources Director report which included progress on revisions to the Personnel Rules which will be covered by the Board during its meeting in July 2008 and the summary of departmental actions over the past quarter.
