pity of Sari L,eand~-a -Personnel ;[relations Baas°d <br />Special l~ieetar-g of Thursday, February 21, 2008 <br />Chairperson McManus called the meeting to order in the Human Resources Department <br />Conference Room, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA on <br />Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. <br />Justinian Caire, Human Resources Director and Executive Secretary called the role. <br />PRESENT: Chairperson McManus, Member Anna Brannan, Member and Member <br />Kent Myers. <br />ABSENT: Vice-Chairperson Michael Munoz and Member Bill Jardin <br />It was MS (Myers/Brannan) to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of January 24, <br />2008. The Motion carried 3 Ayes. <br />Secretary Caire indicated that a special meeting was called to review the second series of <br />revised classification specifications under the City's Update Classification Specification <br />Project. He indicated that the second series has been reviewed by Department Heads and <br />reviewed and discussed under the Meet and Confer process with the respective employee <br />groups. <br />The Board then proceeded to review the presented classification specifications in specific <br />groups. <br />The first group reviewed was the classification specifications under the Confidential <br />employee category which included the Financial Supervisor and the Human Resources <br />Analyst. <br />After a discussion regarding changes made in the classification specifications, it was MS <br />(Myers/Brannan) to approve the revisions to the classification specifications under the <br />Confidential employee category listed above. The Motion carried 3 Ayes. <br />The second group reviewed was the classification specifications under the Non- <br />Represented Part-time employee category which included the Maintenance Assistant <br />UIUIII and the Recreation Specialist UIUIII. Member Myers noted that a correction of the <br />designated employee group was missing in the Maintenance Assistant UIUIII <br />classification specification. <br />After a discussion regarding changes made in the classification specifications, <br />
