Current City Council Policy <br />To improve and maintain the City's roadways. <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />On February 20, 1996 by Resolution No. 96-23, _ the City Council certified a negative <br />declaration for the Westgate Parkway project and approved reconfiguration of the <br />northbound and southbound I-880 off-ramps <br />• On April 15, 1996 by Resolution No. 96-46, the City Council approved a consultant services <br />agreement with Rajappan & Meyer Consulting Engineers for establishing a plan line for <br />Westgate Parkway <br />• Resolution No. 2000-63, approved on May l , 2000, approved the Alameda County <br />Expenditure Plan and recommended to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to place an <br />extension of the 1/2 cent sales tax on the November 2000 Ballot (Measure B) <br />Resolution No. 2000-176, approved on November 2, 2000, authorized DFSI funds for the <br />Westgate Parkway 1xtension Plan Line Development and Preliminary Design <br />• Resolution No. 2002-96, approved on July 1, 2002, authorized the City Manager to enter into <br />a master project fw~ding agreement and subsequent specific project funding agreements <br />• Resolution No. 2003-046, on March 3, 2003, approved a contractual services agreement with <br />BKF Engineers for design services <br />• Resolution No. 2003-105 on April 21, 2003, approved a contractual services agreement with <br />'hJKM Transportation Consultants for design services <br />• Resolution No. 2004-074, on May 17, 2004, authorized the City Manager to execute <br />agreements for the purchase of properties at various locations for the Davis StreetlDoolittle~ <br />Drive Intersection Project of the Westgate Parkway Extension <br />• Resolution No. 2004-079, on May 17, 2004, approved plans and specifications and calling <br />for bid for Westgate Parkway Extension to Williams Street.
