Ordinance No. 2008-005, an Ordinance Amending Title 2, Chapter 13, Section 2-13- <br />140 of the San Leandro Municipal Code to Provide for an Adjustment to the Emergency <br />Medical Services Tax (EMS Tax) Based on the Annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) <br />Increase (increases the EMS Tax from $13.69 to $14.21, by 3.8%, per Benefit Unit, to <br />be effective July 1, 2008). Ordinance No. 2008-006, an Ordinance Amending Title 2, Chapter 2, Section 2-2-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Business License Fees and Its Annual <br />Adjustment to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) (increases the Business License Tax by <br />3.8%, to be effective July 1, 2008). Ordinance No. 2008-007, an Ordinance Amending the San Leandro Municipal Code <br />by Adding a New Chapter 3-19 Relating to Green Building Ordinance (promotes <br />economic and environmental health in the City by incorporating green building <br />practices in City buildings). Resolution No. 2008-049, Resolution Establishing a Goal of 75% Reduction of Waste <br />Going to Landfills by 2010 for the City of San Leandro in Accordance with the <br />Countywide 54% Waste Reduction Goal (adopts new goals to meet new eligibility <br />criteria to receive Waste Import Mitigation Block Grant funding from the Alameda <br />County Waste Management Authority [StopWaste.Org]). Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Submit the Measure B Paratransit <br />Application for the Expenditure of Measure B Paratransit Funds in Fiscal Year 2008-09 <br />to the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA), and to <br />Negotiate and Execute All Documents in Support of These Activities (provides funding <br />for FLEX Shuttle, bus service for seniors and people with disabilities).
