(c) Youth Advisory Commission Board Members shall hold office for one year commencing September 1, and until their respective successors are appointed and qualified. Youth Advisory Commission Board Members may be appointed for up to four (4) consecutive terms. The City Council may fill a vacancy by appointment for the unexpired remainder of the term. (d) Except as otherwise provided in this Code, a Board and Commission member whose term is not provided for in sections (a), (b) or (c) herein shall hold office for four (4) years from the date of appointment. Severability If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of the Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, invalid, or ineffective by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the remaining portions of this Ordinance or any part hereof. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed each section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause and phrase of the Ordinance irrespective Qf the fact that one or more of them would be declared unconstitutional or invalid. To this end, the provisions of the Ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. Effective Date_and Publication. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption and the title thereof shall be published once prior to adoption. b30528-1
