IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2008-064 (2012/2096/2273/2547/2769) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING COMIVILTNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2008-2009 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG <br />SUBRECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO BUILDING FUTURES WITH <br />WOMEN AND CHILDREN (SAN LEANDRO SHELTER); DAMS STREET FAMILY <br />RESOURCE CENTER; PROJECT LITERACY; AND, EDEN COUNCIL FOR HOPE AND <br />OPPORTUNITY FOR FAIR HOUSING SERVICES AND LANDLORD-TENANT <br />COUNSELING <br />CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and Building Futures <br />With Women and Children (BFWC -San Leandro Shelter), Davis Street Family Resource <br />Center (DSFRC), Project Literacy, and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity (ECHO) for fair <br />housing services and landlord-tenant counseling services, copies of which are attached, have <br />been presented to this Council. <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof are hereby authorized <br />for the CDBG public services grant amounts of $30,000 for BFWC's San Leandro Shelter, <br />$26,151 for DSFRC, $30,000 for Project Literacy, $29,750 for ECHO's landlard-tenant <br />services, and $14,000 for ECHO's fair housing services. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Grant and passed and adopted this 16th day of June, 2008, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Grant, Gregory, Pro1a, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
