(5) The location of cracks or damaged portions of unreinforced masonry walls <br />requiring repairs. <br />(6) The type of interior wall surfaces and whether reinstalling or anchoring of <br />ceiling plaster is necessary. <br />(7) The general condition of the mortar joints and whether the joints need <br />pointing. <br />Section 7-5-870: ALTERNATIVE UNREINFORCED MASONRY PROVISIONS <br />APPLICABLE TO HOUSING UNITS. As an alternative to the provisions of this Article which <br />apply to housing units, the City hereby incorporates by reference Addendix Chapter 1 of the 1994 <br />edition of the Uniform Code for Building Conservation of the International Conference of <br />Building Officials. In the event that the provisions of the Uniform Code for Building <br />Conservation conflict with any other provision of this Code, the provisions of this Code shall <br />prevail. <br />Section 7-5-875: ADOPTION OF TECHNICAL PROVISIONS OF THE UNIFORM CODE <br />FOR BUILDING CONSERVATION, CHAPTER 5 AND APPENDIX CHAPTERS 1, 5 AND 6. <br />A.
