ARTICLE 1. ADOPTION Section 3-3-100: ADOPTION. Except as hereafter specifically set forth, the °`California Building Standards Code, 2001 edition" is amended and that certain document entitled "Uniform Fire Code, 2000 Edition", published by the Western Fire Chiefs Association is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of San Leandro. However, in accordance with California Government Code Section 50222.4, no penalty clauses are adopted by reference. In the event an amendment to the California Building Standards Code results in differences between these building standards and the California Building Standards Code, the text of these building standards shall govern. In accordance with California Health and Safety Code Section 17958.7, express findings that modifications to the California Building Standards Code are reasonably necessary because of local climatic, geological or topographical conditions are either already on file with the California Building Standards Commission, or will be filed prior to the effective date of this Ordinance. In accordance with California Government Code Section 50022.6, at least one true copy of the Uniform Fire Code has been on file with the San Leandro City Clerk since fi$een days prior to enactment of this Ordinance. While this Ordinance is in force, a true copy of the Uniform Fire Code shall be kept for public inspection in the office of the San Leandro City Clerk. A reasonable supply of the Uniform Fire Code shall be available in the office of the San Leandro City Clerk for public purchase. ARTICLE 2. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS AND AMENDMENTS Section 3-3-200: REPORTING FIRE DAMAGES, LOSSES OR CLAIMS. Section 1302.4 is hereby added to read as follows: The owners, tenants, and persons having control or occupants of any property, building structure or vehicle involved in any fire incident within the City of San Leandro shall submit to the Fire Chief upon request: (a) A11 claims for damages filed against any person, firm or corporation resulting from such fire incident. (b) The total of all compensation paid to any claimant for losses connected to each fire incident.
