IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2008- <br />RESOLUTION ADDING SAN LEANDRO PACKS AND TROOPS OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF <br />AMERICA AND THE GIRL SCOUTS OF AMERICA TO THE LIST OF CITY COUNCIL <br />COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT FUND RECIPIENTS <br />WHEREAS, City Council Community Empowerment Funds have been established to <br />provide fmancial assistance to local community organizations, groups, and programs which might <br />benefit from a nominal financial contribution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a list of organizations, groups, and programs <br />which are able to receive discretionary funding from City Council Community Empowerment <br />Funds, as directed by the Mayor or City Councilmembers and approved by the City Manager. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That San Leandro Packs and Troops of the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of <br />America are hereby added to the list of Community Empowerment Fund Recipients. <br />Introduced by Councilmember <br />2008, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />and passed and adopted this 21St day of July, <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
