The work will consist of consolidating various plan lines to develop a Master Plan of City Streets GIS layer based on the 1988 report and current available information. Gathering and organizing of the necessary information required to develop a Master Plan of City Streets GIS layer will be undertaken, including: parcel data; existing plan lines; the General Plan; and the Final Bicycle and Pedestrian Design Guidelines. The compilation of this information will create a new set of maps that will indicate existing and desired right-of--way widths. The maps will also indicate which parcels will be impacted by future right-of--way needs. This information will be put into a GIS database to be used for reference and updated as necessary. This contract will focus on approximately five (5) of the Master Plan streets as a pilot project to work out procedures for the overall project. Once the pilot project is completed, a larger contract to complete the plan will be taken to Council under a separate action. Current City Council Policy Not Applicable Previous City Council Action(S) On March 7, 1988, by Resolution No. 1988-26, the City Council identified the Master Plan of City Streets as a specific plan "necessary and convenient for the implementation of the General Plan of the City" On April 3, 2000, by Resolution No. 2000-42, the City Council approved removing various streets identified to be widened and amended the 1988 Master Plan of City Streets City Council Committee Review And Action Not Applicable Auplicable General Plan Policy Goal 16: Streets and Highways.
